"As" per your clinical history is concerned you can be given 10-40 mg tablet and your doctor will check your BP and tell you which will be better and in my opinion start with 10 mg twice a day and gradually increase if needed. Do an ECHO test and check your Aortic valve status.

Ciplar n ciplar la are same medicines. But in your case your pharmacist has given you ciplar la 20, when you needed 40. Also ciplar la 40 is much costlier than ciplar 40.

Regarding antihypertensives and covid vaccine currently there is no evidence that it’s contraindicated. Simply put yes you may continue propranolol (ciplar) as per your current prescription. You need to find the reasons for the headache, it is uncommon in anxiety. It can be stress headache, migraine, etc. Ciplar is safe, but take as per your psychiatrist advise. Good luck.
