Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. From the given hormone levels it is clear that you have developed hypothyroidism, which needs appropriate treatment. Please come back with details like what are symptoms you are having, T3 & T4 (total levels), lipid profile, heart rate, BP readings. Mr. Lybrate-user, The difference between the two preparations is the duration of action: la being long acting (easy for the patient, take one in the morning and done for the day). Immediate release- for patients who don't find it difficult to take medications multiple times. Minimal difference in the effectiveness between the two as far as I have understood.

Hi your current problems may be due to the side effects of the medicines you are taking. So consult your existing psychiatrist to change the medicines. But a better option would be to consult a clinical psychologist and undergo cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) which can help you to gradually reduce the dosage of medicines and may be bring it to the minimum maintenance dose.
