Just to update you that Proluton, Susten and Duphastone all are progesterone which are given to support pregnancy. In any case of untoward event or crisis these progesterone help in sustaining pregnancy. In most of clinical scenarios either susten or duphastone (daily dosages) is combined with Proluton depot (500 mg weekly basis ). Get your dopplers done and see for the foetal parameters, susten is a pregnancy support progesterone pill to be taken till 12 the to 14 wks ,and usually stopped unless there are other issues like pain, spotting or threatened pregnancy or if the mothers age is on higher side, or if she has had a history of miscarriages, however we are that you have already reached 31 wks, so you may discontinue if all is good,

Excess progesterones and injections can have side effects on the liver. Ask your gynaec if thereâs any particular risk factor in your pregnancy for continuing the tablets and injections, such as low lying placenta/ twins/ bleeding in early pregnancy, or certain blood disorders like thrombophilias. If none of these are present in your pregnancy, then you could just continue susten capsule for up to 34 weeks and then stop all hormonal medications.
