In order to lose weight you have to work hard and have that determination to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. For a start please follow:

7.8 for a 49 year old is a bit high. Specially if you don't have brittle diabetes, multiple complications or taking insulin at high doses. Regarding your fasting and ppbs, it will vary on a daily basis, depends on what you ate the previous evening/night. You need to check your full day sugar profile or use cgms.

My brother had distorted thoughts and was in a depressing state last month and we consulted the psychiatrist. She diagnosed him to be suffering from psychotic disorder but thankfully this is at a very initial stage. She also prescribed medicines risnia and dicorate for a week initially and then eventually for a month once a day. With medicines he became fine. Cud also have sound sleep and remained happy. Our parents and I supported him throughout, also took him out every other day for movies or dining out, etc. She also advised us to consult a psychologist for counselling. However within 2-3 sessions we found that the counselling was a waste of time since this psychologist was only giving general knowledge to my brother. Though one month of medicine is over. My brother has continuously been complaining of mild pain in his head, especially in his temple area. Do we need to again visit the psychiatrist or should we consult a neurosurgeon? We at home are confused right now, what to do?

1. Consult a psychiatrist on a regular basis and get all investigations including medical, neurological etc. So that in future to avoid any kind of relapse if it occurs. 2. A clinical psychologist's role in such cases is generally to psycho educate patient or family members (as you said psychologist was just giving general knowledge) as psychotic disorders are considered chronic mental illness therefore medications are the first line of prescriptions to deal with this. 3. As part of your role an...more

My foreskin doesn't go beyond the penile head from childhood. As such I had no problem of pain or discomfort. Suddenly I found a red patch on glans penis and some reddened rash like presentation around the shaft. I don't know how long it was there. When it was not resolved by normal cleaning. I went to a skin specialist cum venerologist who got me tested for vdrl, hsv1, 2 ,hiv and all report came negative. Cbc is also wnl. I have no history of unprotected sex outside my marriage. The doctor recommended me cifran d for 10 days, 6 fluconazole tablets and luliconazole ointment and beta dine solution to apply. The loss and shaft rash cured (very little red spot on glans is still there but reduced 90%). Suddenly I found that a black vein like swelling in the opening of urinary passage. It's sometimes giving mild stinging pain, especially if I have masturbation or sexual activity. Also I am feeling the penis numb or full sometimes. I may overestimate the "feeling" part as I am excessively stressed with sleepless night. Once long back I had some painful traumatic twitch during sex in my penis. occasionally painful retraction of foreskin also during sex. I masturbated more than I had sex. Is it injury? Infection or some cancer? Should I show venerologost or urologist?

Dear user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Phimosis could cause moderate to severe pain while having vaginal intercourse. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement 20 time...more
