Hello, My wife got cervical Cerclage at 17th week pregnancy on Friday, due to weak cervix and slight open at end. She experience slight cramping and vaginal reddish discharge till today, is it normal? Also doctor has given diclofenac injection and prolactin depot injection. everything fine?

Minimal reddish disharge is okay but if severe cramping persists, consult your doctor. Lt is proluton depot injection and not prolactin depot. Also we do not use diclofenac in pregnancy. Please check the spellings.

My daughter is pregnant, which was confirmed on 11th may, 2019. She had consulted a gynaecologist and has been advised to take the following medicines: 1) c. Susten - 200 mg - 1-0-1, 2) pantocid -40 mg 1-0-1, 3) folic acid 5 mg - 1-0-0 & 4) inj. Proluton 500 mg - 4 (once a week). She has taken the medicines from 25th to 6th june, 2019 with great difficulty due to morning sickness and other connected symptoms. When she stopped susten - 200 mg, she finds much relieved and is taking normal food etc, otherwise with the medicine she was not able to get our her bed. When the doctor was again consulted on 8th june, she prescribed naturogest-200 mg instead of susten - 200 mg and the doze of injection proluton depot was reduced to 250 ml. She has not tried naturogest 250 mg fearing it would upset her again. Now, please advise if the intake of susten 200 mg or naturogest 200 mg is absolute must for a pregnant lady who is in her first trimester?

Hi Doctor, My wife is pregnant with 13 weeks. Now she is facing head ache on every two three days. She is taking below medicine: Hcg inj. Twice in month during first trimester (5000iu) Proluton depot (250) every week during first trimester. Both injections course is completed. Other medicines are duvadilan retard daily. One folic acid tablet daily and doxinate of for nausea. Ultrasound scan at three month is good. Can you pl. Suggest for headache and other medicines if required. Dr. Has suggest injections as her earlier pregnancy was unsuccessful because of blighted ovum. Pl. Suggest for headache and other medicines if required. Thanks and regards.

I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and Take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required and For headache take tablet paracetamol 500 mg.

My last period was on 18th june. On 11th August beta hcg was 1063.07 mIu/ml. On 14th August it was 1492.70 mIu/ml. Again on 20th August I have done beta HCG and the level is 2294.03 mIu/ml. She prescribed me Vitagreat, ecosprin 75, Glycomet Sr 500 mg, Susten 400 mg daily. She prescribed me injection also Proluton Depot 500 means 15-15 day cycle till 26th week of pregnancy. My doctor giving me Lonopin 0.4 mg injection regularly till pregnancy. And told me to do sonography on 29th August to check the baby heart beat.

Please do your ultrasoundtvs now and exclude any ectopic. The betahcg values are not showing doubling in 48 hrs.

Hi, diet at this time is normal. All home cooked foods along with fruits and salads, milk twice should be taken. Don't worry too much about the pain. Your gynecologist has already given you sufficient medicines. Just rest.

I had an ivf done and I have conceived with twins currently I am 11 weeks 4 days pregnant and ystday morn I had slight bleeding I was told to take trenaxa 500 3 times a day for 3 days and an injection proluton depot 250 mg for a day. I did tht the bleeding had stopped before I took the medicine. Now it's not bleeding at all but while inserting susten 400 mg it smells bad and while urinating the left over susten was brownish and smelly. Wht could be the reason and I hope both my babies r fine.

To check your babies status you will have to get an USG done. Bad smell indicates infection which is one of the most popular causes for mishappenings. Please show yr gynaec. Old blood no problem

I had a pprom last year at 26 weeks due to unknown reasons. Now I am 23 weeks pregnant and this time I had a cervical cerclage placed at 17 weeks as a precaution. Now in my latest anomaly scan it showed u-shaped funneling of 1.5 cm with width 1 cm. Cervix length is 2.3 cm. I am on weekly proluton depot 500 mg shot, duvadilan 2 times a day and duphaston. But my doctor suggested for either hosp admission or complete bed rest. What is the best option? And will the funneling stop with strict bed rest after few weeks? Are there any chances for the cervix length to increase?

Chances of funneling to stop and cervical length to increase are mostly nil. But complete bed rest will prevent the worsening. You need strict complete bed rest.

Ivf treatment -- duvadilan retard 40 mg capsule- having this during 7th month of pregnancy will harmful to my baby after birth? (on 18th july will complete 7th months) my cervix length is 3.1 which is short as per my doctor so she suggested me totally bed rest! and quit my current job. Also suggested "proluton depot 500 inj" once in a week. I am taking "lonopin 40 mg inj" on an alternate basis since last 2-3 months. Will this medicine or injection harmful to my baby inside the womb or after birth?

Hello, on 5 week 4 days pregnancy I did my sonography my pregnancy was viable with good growth in embryo crl 3.4 mm, gestational sac and fetal heart beat of 117 bpm, but was showing bleed of 17 mm*8 mm around the sac but no vaginal bleeding. Same day I was given proluton depot injection followed by 2 more injection once in a week after taking injections I did sonography. Their was no fetus growth from the last sonography no fetal heartbeat was found and gestational sac was not healthy. Fetus was same 3.4 mm is it because of this infection I had missed miscarriage. Please help me to understand so that next time I don't take such infections I have read that this injections are given after 16 weeks not in 1st trimester. I don't understand suddenly how this took place.

These injections can be given in first trimester so that should not be an issue. The growth stopped because of the bleed and why it happened should be ascertained though many times there is no obvious cause. If this is your first pregnancy get all relevant tests done. Consult a doctor locally or take online advice.

My wifes pregnancy past history summary indicates from me .3 miscarriages in last 4 years.in current present situation she is 4 months 12 days pregnant &last april 2020 she troubled of red bleeding after doctor take decision and admitted her for 11 days & at that time to until weekly she takes 1 proluton depot 500 inj & hucog hp 5000 .before admit she takes 18 inj & after admitted to until today she takes 7 inj. Is that right treatment .she is ivf patient. Please guide me doctor.
