Primolut N 5 MG Tablet Health Feed

I took primon N norethisterone tablet. 8 days back. 3 pills per day. It is 6th day today I got 2 two drops of blood yesterday and nothing since then. I am worried. Please help me knowing primon N is used for delaying periods or for what is it?

Primolut N is a harmonal pill. It is used for many purposes like postponment of periods & for withdrawal bleeding. You just wait, you will have periods in next 2-3 days.

Why are you taking tab gyanaset ,if taken for withdrawal bleeding it should be taken for 5days .
If taken to regularize cycle then should be taken for 21days

One gets withdrawal bleeding after gap of 5 to 8 days after stopping Norlut-N. It is more effective if taken for more days. If does not give rise to withdrawal bleeding, tablets can be changed by doctor

you can start either of them twice a day from day 22 of your cycle till as long as you wish to delay your menses.

Hello I have recently traced that I have thyroid. Upto now I faced with irregular menstrual problems for the past 3 years. And getting treated. Doctors said its hormone imbalance and I used regestrone, primolut etc kind tablets. Upto now. My main fear is. How far it takes to clear this problem. This causes pregnancy issues? There is a possibility that at least in part your irregular periods are due to thyroid dysfunction. Therefore if you take the right dose of thyroxine it should get better .Regesterone or primulut-n do not cause any issues with getting pregnant in the future

Good evening Doctor, 4 months before my periods was missed. So I consulted a doctor. She had done pregnancy test for me & the test result was negative. That time I was troubled with urinary tract infection also. She preferred medicine for infection & advised me to wait for 1 week for my periods. After 1 week it wasn't came. So I disappointed and consulted doctor again. She given Norethisterone Primolut N 5 mg tablets for 5 days, Dydrogesterone 10 mg for 3 period cycle and Folic acid folicum 5 mg for 3 months. After consumption (5 days) of Norethisterone Primolut my period was came. And I continued consumption of other (Dydrogesterone and folic acid) tablets for 3 months. We had done FSH, LH, Testosterone, Progesterone, Prolactin, TSH, Ultra Sound scan tests and the result shows normal. Up to last month my periods was came as normal. But now my periods was missed again. Now I am totally tensed, what should I do. Please give good advises to me.

Norethisterone and ethinyl oestradiol combination pills are contraceptive pills, but they are also used in patients who have irregular periods or have excessive bleeding.
It's use regularizes periods and in patients who have excessive bleeding it's use controls bleeding.

As a routine, any hormonal Therapy dise not have to do anything with food schedule, some doctors recommend them to take after a specified meal so as to schedule the drug intake and regularity is thus achieved.

What is your purpose... the tablets are hormonal and sometimes it causes irregularities in the periods... even it may continue upto next few periods too...
In future avoid taking such pills...
