Norethisterone is a prescription-only pill which can be used to delay your period by up to 17 days. You start to take it three days before your period is due, and can then continue to take it for a maximum of 20 days. You will get your period two to three days after you stop taking Norethisterone.

Don't worry about the spotting as it is possible to have some breakthrough bleeding while on norethisterone. Pain could be due to underlying pathology of endometriosis. I would suggest an alternate progesterone in higher dose for endometriosis but need to review your reports first. For pain you could take tab meftal spas 1 tab three times a day for 2-3 days. Also get a urine routine examination done. Consider a private consultation.

Hello.
Crina ncr contains norethisterone, in slow-release formulation.
Crina ncr is available in 10 and 15 mg doses. Primolut n also contains the same norethisterone but not in slow-release formulation.
You may take primolut n in the same equivalent dose as you are taking crina ncr ,just by dividing the total dose into two or three equal parts.
