Treatment is for the condition and not Mr. film report. Some changes can be in asymptomatic persons also.
If you do not have any radicular pain or tingling sensation in lower limbs. Stop pregabalin, not needed for long term if the pain subsides, start gentle spinal strengthening exercises.
What is your profession?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
First and foremost is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. Then most of the symptoms of neuropathy can be in control. Pragabalin does help. If needed higher dose can be taken. Thanks.

Observations: loss of normal cervical lordosis is noted. Mild osteophytes lipping of vertebral bodies is noted. Intervertebral discs: c3-4, c4-5 and c5-6 discs show mild posterior bulge mildly indenting the thecal sac. Impression: mild posterior bulge of c3-4, c4-5 and c5-6 discs mildly indenting the thecal sac. Early cervical spondylosis. Request your honest opinion on this. What is early in early cervical spondylosis? Age 36 years first had this kind of muscle pain and tingling sensation about an year ago when started working out, took pregalin, it went away and was able to do all exercise without any problem and all joint pain also vanished after working out. Worked out for 2 months, no problem and then stopped working out due to other works. Then pain and tingling reoccur after about 6 months and took pregalin for 3 days helped, now muscle pain and tingling sensation again and took an mri since it reoccurred. Is it because of the workout or age related or ergonomics?

No. U can try this -
1. 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). Or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories.
3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean...more

Hi,
thanks for writing in to us. Your mri scan shows disc problem at c 5 - c 6 level. This requires rest, physical therapy and pain relief as first line of treatment. Maxgalin er is a good medicine and will treat nerve related pain. The condition you have might be due to trauma or degeneration. It is unlikely to heal completely. You can try a rehabilitation and treatment with nerve pain reliever like maxgalin er. Please do not stress your neck for a long duration and avoid sudden neck moveme...more

Betacap TR is given for hand tremors (vibration) not for BP. So let her continue it. Check BP regularly ,as you said it can decrease BP aswell.
