Hi lybrate-user lets first go with mri scan which shows soft tissue image inside you body to rule out the exact cause of pain .it might be due to nerve pinched, irratating ,compression etc. This condition is not shown in x rays .hereafter physiotherapy treatment plan will developed.

Please check your shoulder for Frozen Shoulder syndrome. When a person is under stress they hold their shoulders tight causing a stiffness in the joints. So learn to relax first. Massage shoulder joints with Meruvenna oil for relief and strength to the joint.

I agree with the doctors advice that you need to c the dentist coz your a senior citizen and being careless or ignoring the complaints than it may cause more problem. Sensitivity can be of many reasons now that you took medicine you may not have but you need to know wats the problem, dn't be afraid. Whatever feasible treatment you need the dentist will do that only.
