no worry at all. this vaccine is reactogenic and causes swelling , lump and fever for few variable days --> just apply ice at that hardened part and it fades away in 4 weeks . if it is causing reduced leg movement or persistence of fever then only u shall be worried- well no long term effects !

For swelling meet doctor. Tetanus inj is to prevent tetanus and better effect if course of injections taken first now, 2nd after 1 month 3 rd after 6 months then every 5 years one. With such course better effect and no need to take in between even if there is injury, opeaation etc.

Any adult who has not had a tetanus immunization within 10 years should get a single dose of tdap. After tdap, the td vaccine is recommended every 10 years. There is evidence that the tetanus immunization remains highly effective for much longer than 10 years.

Accept the fact and remember when tracheotomy tube is in place larynx gets closed and hence you are not able to talk and once we are confident that there is no problem in breathing after hole closure than you will be able to talk but as of now accept the fact
