Dear Lybrate user, there is no documented / reported case of liver toxicity with use of budesonide & formoterol (budamate) inhaled drugs.
Since you have observed a rising of liver enzymes, it would be advisable to contact your treating doctor and reduce the dose of your inhaler (because all medicines pass through liver and may cause further problem)
you also need to contact a dm gastroenterology and try to find reason for liver problem.
Wishing you good health.

Dear lybrate user, inhalation route of drug administration is very effective with minimal side effects when compared with oral/tablet mode of medication. Majority of asthma patients uses two types of drugs. Drugs which dilates airway (broncho dilators like salbutamol) & inflammation stoppers (steroids like budesonide). Side effects are very minimal. If you r using a steroid please wash your mouth with water after inhalation of the drug.

You are suffering from obstructive airway disease, most probably bronchial asthma. You have to be done spirometry, chest x-ray and blood investigations in consultation with chest physician. Then you will need inhalers along with oral medications. You need to be regular in treatment.
