Take plain glimepiride 1 mg before breakfast. Take metformin 500 mg twice daile, before breakfast & dinner. Repeat fbs & ppbs after 2 weeks. Take small quantities of food every 3-4 hours during day. Never starve. If you exercise, do so only after taking light food.

Mr. Lybrate-user, normal sugar level is same for a non diabetic person or one with diabetes. To say that your diabetes is in good control, fasting should be nearer 100 mg and pp between 150 to 160 mg. And hba1c%<7. To achieve this apart from appropriate treatment diet control and exercise are also equally important.

No it's not safe during breast feeding. Get ultrasound done to rule out retained pieces because breast feeding mother has low period
rule out other causes of bleeding and don't take routine tablet to stop blood, bleeding anywhere in the body.
