Crocin and calpol are same drug, paracetamol fever is not coming down possibly there is an infection. If it is viral, it will come down within 3-4 days with regular calpol/crocin 10-15 mg/kg dose every four hours. If it is bacterial infection you will need to give antibiotic, it is okay and usually antibiotic is given prophylactically, to cover secondary bacterial infection that may set in during a viral infection. You can check her cbc and tft (as weight is just below expected), you inform me.

Viral fever takes 3-5 days. But if fever persist for long or associated with other symptoms like rashes/ nausea/vomiting/ severe headache/ breathlessness/pain in chest or abdomen etc then please update for further guidance or consult physician, as you may require physical check up & blood investigations. 1. Avoid exertion

2. Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg after food as and when required for fever more than 99 F (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days

3. Lot of fluids to be taken

4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal Dalia, chapatti etc.

4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths.

For immediate relief you can take over the counter available analgesics like Ibuprofen if paracetamol (crocin) is not working.
But these medicines should not be taken on daily basis. If you have persistent headache you should get evaluated to find the cause of your headache and treatment accordingly.

hope by now his fever is down. Ifnot get his blood test done does he have any other problem like cough or cold
or any pain while passing urine
what's the colour of his urine
any loose motions or vomiting
give him paracetamol regularly till you get the report.
