Apart from taking ongoing treatment I will suggest you to take tablet folvite 5mg once a day and tablet vitamind (60000iu) once a week for six months and increase your self confidence.

Antiepileptic drugs should be withdraw slowly, if the seizure recurrs, you should continue the drug for 2 years ,if no seizure present after 2 year you can slowly withdraw the the drug.

You should continue your anti epileptics, if seizure recurs after stopping the medication. If someone is seizure free for more than 3 years, and patient has no cognitive impairments with normal mri brain and normal eeg, then we consider tapering the dose of anti epileptics.

Chewing chewable tablets may help faster absorption of the drug. There are chewable tabs which can be chewed but non chewable enteric coated tabs have to be swallowed as they should not come into contact with gastric acid and should directly reach intestines. Yu check your tables is enteric coated or film coated which can be chewed but bitter taste may be troublesome.
