The symptoms may not be related. You just have to keep observing and repeat some tests like urine routine and CBC. Review with the doctor. Adopt a very healthy life style which will help not only your menstrual cycles but also overall health. Exercising (maintaining an ideal weight) will keep you fit and energetic and will keep many problems at bay.

Pregnancy is possible only on one day of cycle, day of ovulation when ovum is released from ovary of woman. That is why normally couple have 12 to 24 cycles of unprotected sex around time of ovulation before going to Gynecologist or infertility specialist for further evaluation and advise. But in PCOD ovulation is affected so chances of pregnancy decrease so should go to Gynecologist or infertility specialist earlier.

If you've missed one pill anywhere in the pack or started a new pack one day late, you're still protected against pregnancy. You should:
take the last pill you missed now, even if this means taking two pills in one day
carry on taking the rest of the pack as normal
take your seven-day pill-free break as normal or, if you're on an everyday (ED) pill, take your dummy (inactive) pills
You don't need to use extra contraception.
But don’t miss second pill as then use extra contrac...more

Dear Doctor, My girlfriend is 25 years old. We have been dating for the past 3 years now and are committed. She explained to me that from the time she first got her periods, they have been rather irregular. She would also develop certain skin conditions during her periods such as acne on her face or increase in oiliness as well as dryness of her lips. Her gynac after performing certain tests said that she releases several eggs at a time, rather than the usual one when she ovulates. Under his prescription she has been taking a course of Aristelle (Ethinyl Estradiol, Dienogest) ever since As I understand, this drug is a hormonal contraceptive. She has continued this course for the past several years now and has been doing well in terms of skin symptoms and regularity of her period. My question to you is, for how long do you think it would be safe to continue this course without causing any disturbance to her body. We are clear that we want to have sex only after marriage. Hence I would like to know if there would be anything to keep in mind when we do decide that we would like to conceive. I look forward to your kind help. With Gratitude

Hi. As of now if she is better she may stop that pill for a few months and observe. If you are not going to be sexually active as of now then no worries. Once you get married she should easily conceive. Supposing there are problems in conceiving that can be tacled at that time. Per say these pills are quite harmless and you need not worry.
