Hello lybrate-user. First of all I want to make it clear to you that there is no absolutely painless vaccine. Every vaccine, whether large or small needle is used, has to be given by prick only. And this will surely cause some pain for your baby. Inj. Pentaxim consists of DPT, IPV and Hib. 5 components. It has not been available for quite some time now. You may give paracetamol about 60 mg but I suggest to consult pediatrician to ascertain cause of fever and accordingly treatment since small babies are more prone to become serious.

This appears like Ear drum perforation as a result of cold and middle ear infection. Ear must be kept dry with no liquid entry of any type. Wipe outside with cotton buds. You require aggressive treatment of nose congestion, cold and chronic infection. Once dry Ear drum reconstruction surgery may be considered. See ENT Specialist for the management.
