About Otrinoz Pediatric Nasal Drops

This medication is composed of Sorbitol and Xylometazoline. It is prescribed to relieve nasal congestion that may occur because of hay fever, common cold, allergies of the upper respiratory tract or even sinus. The drug shrinks the mucous membrane of the nose by tightening the blood vessels. This, in turn, helps reduce congestion and makes breathing easier.

The drops should be used as per your doctor’s direction and advice. Place the spray at the opening of one nostril and close the other nostril with your finger. Squeeze the spray into your nostril and inhale deeply. After you are done using the spray, clean the tip of the can using hot water so as to prevent any contamination.
