Please understand diabetes occurs because of lack of insulin. Oral anti diabetic drugs promote either insulin secretion or reduce resistance to it's action. Plus insulin injection is required if there's severe lack of it. No other treatment is there. So you have to take medications.

lybrate-user you have been taking these medicines from last 10 yrs, so your hair loss is definitely not secondary to these. Secondly you may discontinue the medicine intermittently if you want, but then their effect will disappear and your cholesterol levels may get deranged, so if you discontinue the medicine repeat your lipid profile 6 weeks later to see if it has not increased, if it does restart. If you had an angiogram done, and there is a single vessal disease with no collaterals, surgery will give good releif. If you have collaterals, both angioplasty and surgery will be good. But final decision should be taken based on the angiogram pictures.
