Hi, I'm 39 years old. Since 4 years I'm suffering with dysmenorrhea. 2 years back I was diagnosed with adenomyosis. Iud was placed to reduce uterine thickness. It is helping but slow. But the main complaint is still I'm facing with severe pain and irregular uterine bleeding. Dr. suggested sevista 60 mg for both problems. My doubt is can sevista help in my pain because I can't bare the pain any more. I decided to go for hysterectomy but Dr. is saying not required. please help me how can I get rid of this severe labor kind of pain.

If you are suffering a lot final option will be laparoscopic hysterectomy with preservation of your ovaries if you have completed your family. I am 33 years old woman and I was having breast pain in both sides for which doctor prescribed me primosa 1000 and axillary pain in right underarms for which Dr. prescribed me sevista 30 mg thrice a week. I got rest in my pain but my period has been stopped since last 2 months. My last period date was the 13th March and I started medicine from 8th March. Since from 30th april, I stopped taking both medicines. My period will continue or not for how many days I should wait?

Hello.
Sevista contains ormeloxifene which in majority of women causes amenorrhea.
However it is very in treatment of mastalgia.
Please do not worry. Amenorrhea following sevista is variable, however in majority of women, it returns in 4 to 6 weeks following stopping the drug.
You just need to wait and watch, your period will return.

Due to sevista 30 mg which I was taking for breast cyst. My periods get delayed. I took meprate but periods does not come even after 13 days. Dr. asked me to do ultrasound of lower abdomen. A very small follicular cyst is detected in that. And endometrium thickness is 0.8 mm. I do nt have any periods yet. Dr. given me tab regestrone and panic to take for 14 days. Your views will be really valuable to me. And will these medicine can cause any side effects like sevista does to me. Please help me. I am really afraid of taking any tablets because of what sevista does to me. Please help me. And elaborate.

Hello Chaitra... Novex is a contraceptive pill... which is a hormonal in nature.. and it has many side effects... Better avoid taking it... if you are taking it for contraception then use condoms... and if you have other problems then take homoeopathic treatment..
