Try one of these ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner to get you started:
Breakfast
a bowl of wholegrain cereal, such as porridge, with semi-skimmed milk, or
2 slices of wholegrain toast with spread and/or jam, or
lower fat/sugar yogurt and fruit.

You not need to take big portion size. These herbs should be part of the cooked meals you are consuming. Because, you might be taking drug that has cholesterol lowering effect. So I wouldn't recommend you to take large portion size of these herbs. As their will be food drug interaction also.
