Dryness is not a disease which you can cure by putting lubricating eye drops for few days, while working on smartphone , computer & watching TV for long time without giving importance to the health of eyes. Thyroid should stay in control with regular treatment. Do not self medicate or suddenly stop hypothyroid treatment. Not treating thyroid can give rise to many effects eg. Obesity, lethargy.
For the dry eyes which can be again observed in hypothyroidism please get screened for any other underlying auto immune disorder and start eye drops for dry eyes based on type of dry eyes .You will need an opthalmologist and an endocrinologist to help you out in this regard.
