Go for meditation to reduce stress in order to nourish your body conditioning the heart and to regularise your digestive system, as well.
Take, plenty of water ro hydrate your body.

No if your bp is less then 140/90 stop medicines and try
exercise daily for 45 minutes a day
brisk walk daily at a speed not less then 5.1 km /hr daily for 15 minutes
eat low salt food
add fibres to you diet reduce your weight
don't take ghee or butter use saffola or olive oil instead.

propranolol or other betablockers group of medicines have minimal side effects compared to other medicines you had been taking
continue with medicines even if bp gets normal because these betablockers reduce the risk of getting heart attack or stroke
second fear, safety for diabetics, these medicines do affect blood sugar levels and lipids too but it's so minimal that your dose of Medicine for diabetes will not be affected.
