you are very right about normal range of tsh levels. At 8.5 milli units/ml, with normal t4, the condition is classified as sub- clinical hypothyroidism. This normally is not treated with any drugs. Treatment is advised only once the levels cross 10 milli units or there are troublesome symptoms with lower tsh levels. As regards food intake you have to have a balanced diet, but avoid certain foods like - soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, peanuts, radish, mustard a...more

As you said your physical activity is nil. Try to improve that first. Plus you need to control your stress and anxiety. Healthy diet low in salt, fat, simple carbohydrate and rich in fibres, vegetables along with daily exercise may help to control your bp.

Better way is to consult local doctor and have a check up. He will prescribe appropriate locally available medicines. Change of BP medicine has to be with check up and doctor's prescription.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Creatinine increase happens when kidney function is affected. This can happen in many conditions including diabetes. Only way to reduce that level is achieve a strict blood glucose control with FBG < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. 1.5 mg is just marginally high. With proper control of diabetes and dietary adjustment, it can be reversed. There is nothing like cure in this situation. Thanks.
