You should not change bp tablet or reduce it without consulting your physician. It only 'controls' bp at certain level but does not cure permanently. Don't change bp dosage without consulting your physician.

If blood pressure is not controlled after taking three or more drugs then it may be matter of concern. You should follow lifestyle measures rigorously to complement medicine. Loosing some extra kilos also part of it. Ask your docor to look for any missing factors like kidney problem or painkiller use etc.

Hi lybrate-user. ARBs rather have beneficial effect on BSL. Now come to your BP. It's 150/90 .its Stage 1 HT with DM as a risk factors. I would suggest you to adopt healthy lifestyle. Stick to Low sodium diet n daily walk is important. Now one can not advise good medicines like that. ACEi or ARBs are choice of drug less than 60 years of age with BP target of 130/80 mm hg. I would rather go with ACEi as you are having DM. Bit one need to evaluate you first. Feel free to call me. Regards.
