Hi. Dryness can be due to various causes. Make sure you do not wash your face excessively (2-3 times at the most). Use a mild cleanser like cetaphil for face wash and apply a moisturiser 2-3 times a day. For getting a glow on your skin it is important to eat healthy and drink plenty of water. Avoid harsh sun and use a sunscreen regularly. You can consider going for mild peels to even out the complexion.

Are you taking the tablet after getting it prescribed by your doctor? If so then it's okay else you must definitely stop doing such things. Not all medicines can be taken by everyone. Your medicine will be prescribed by your doctor based on your health conditions, your history, if you are allergic to something etc.

Dear lybrate-user,
The mood swings are attacks of depression and mania. In between, he may be normal. Now he would have had a relapse or he would have got a mood change. Not that medicines don't work. The mood change may not have come to the notice of the psychiatrist. Please take him to the doctor without stopping dicorate 1 g.

Dear lybrate-user,
You should send the details of his symptoms and diagnosis for which he was prescribed olimelt.
Of course olimelt is sedating. You can reduce and even stop olimelt, provided it is not given for any psychotic symptoms.

Dear Dhaval,
Probably your son is not showing enough improvement with one of the drugs. Increasing olimelt alone may make him put on weight though he may improve. So instead add Arip that may improve him more but not increase his weight. You doctor assessed your son totally how much sleep he requires, how much weight he can put on, etc. Just follow your doctor's instruction instead of only one of the drugs prescribed.
