Arthritis is never curable. All the treatment available now is only to slow down the process of arthritis so that joint replacement can be avoided.
Just taking tablets will not do the job. She needs to do quadriceps exercises to help her slow down the process of knee degradation. The angles of the knee also have to be calculated. If the angle is severe she is likely to progress faster.
