If there is no fibroadenoma of breast this tablet is not necessary. If you have premenstrual syndrome which we call it is pms you might need other supports like vitamin e on and primrose.

If you are planning pregnancy in near future then defer taking this drug. Vit E and Bit B 12 will help you to some extent and not interfere with pregnancy planning.

Yes it can be used as non contraception. The dosage for a grown adult is 60 mg twice a week for the 1st 12 weeks and then 60 mg once a week for up to next 12 weeks.

Novex is a non hormonal contraceptive pill containing ormeloxifene. It's started from 1st day of periods and continued in dose of twice weekly for first 3 month. Then once weekly. It takes 3 months for contraceptive effect to be fully effective. So it's recommended to use additional contraceptive like condoms in this period. If you are 48 hours late after 1st dose, continue remaining tablet s as per schedule and use additional method like condoms for first 3 months.
