If pain is not getting relieved from conservative treatment you will have to get it examined and you might require x-ray or the mri scan to rule out any soft tissue injury.
Till then for symptomatic relief you can apply hot formentation twice daily and apply locally analgesic creams. If pain doesn't subside you can take pain killers.

2. Apply volini gel twice daily
3. Give warm compress locally
4. Take rest

There are several causes of backache.
Most commonly (due long driving, abnormal sitting posture, lying on soft mattresses, previous injury of lower back) people suffer from lumber spondylosis.
Other causes due to renal stone, enlarged prostrate gland etc
so there can be any cause & you are already 45 years of age. You should go for usg lower abdomen &mri lumboscral region.

I am 25 year old men, to much pain in my back I use many pain relief bu medicine d'nt give me relif.
Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc.
*Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around.
*Restrict bike driving as far as possible.
*Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better
*Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mu...more

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from backache (back pain):
* first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support.
* do regular back strength exercises. Move your clockwise and anticlock wise.
* do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress.

you must sleep on a firm mattress with a soft and thin pillow, use a commode and avoid stairs. Do hot fomentation and apply muscodac gel 2-3 times a day. Wear a ls belt. Take zerodol sp and omez 40 mgm. 1 tab each, twice a day for 5-7 days. Get swd +ust for 5-7 sittings at a good physiotherapy center. You will settle. Once settled, learn exercises from your physio. If not. Get x-ray ls spine ap and lateral views and revert back to me with the reports. Take ca...more
