Hi mam,
headache may be part of withdrawal symptom and depends on how long he has been using it. Uncontrolled bp is another reason in his case. So better to bring down the bp with medicines and see. If still not getting controlled get a ct scan of head.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, it's really tough to be in a situation which you are going through, would you be able to specify how many manic or hypomanic episodes have you had previously. There are certainly more drugs in our kitty as psychosurgery or dbt are not as evolved yet to address bipolar depression, ect & rtms are also available non invasive options.
