It is for making you calm and have good sleep. To take it for lifetime is not a wise move. For lifelong health you should start systematic Homeopathic Treatment with Qualified Homoeopath.
Every medicine has its own effects and side effects. Nexito 5 is not any exception. Choose Homoeopathic Treatment. You can Call me also for further guidelines.

The active ingredient in Nexito is Escitalopram. The actual duration of continuation depends on many other factors apart from diagnosis. Some of these factors are: duration of symptoms, severity, current psychosocial functioning, drug tolerability, addictions, etc. While minimum duration is 6 months at least, your Psychiatrist will be able to guide you about your treatment plan.
Wishing you a healthy & happy life.

Then the medicine is not working, you need to consult your psychiatrist and change the medication/ reconsider the diagnosis. Also try to combine with cognitive behavioral therapy. All the best.

It is mainly because of sudden withdrawal of paroxetine. And not due to nexito. So, I would suggest you to stop paroxetine over 15 days by taking 1/2 tablet of 12.5 for 15 days meanwhile continuing nexito 5 mg during that phase. Then you consult your psychiatrist for either continuing same dose or increase in dose.

Hello lybrate-user, nexitoplus contains 5 mg of escitalopram and 0.5 mg of clonazepam. When you use any tablet containing clonazepam for more than two weeks you may get withdrawal symptoms and these withdrawal symptoms almost mimic like anxiety symptoms. Hence I advise you to separately take nexito 5 mg and clonazepam 0.25 mg which is a half of the dose which you had taken earlier. And you can stop clonazepam 0.25 mg after two weeks.

Yes nexito plus can be taken for long term. But if you are asymptomatic on medicine since long a trial to reduce medicine can be given but again your primary care giving doctor will be best judge as he/she knows your illness well.

Five years ago you were into your late teens and it is the final stage for you to resolve childhood issues and my suspicion is that you did not do that. Anyway it is still not too late. I think you are right about the possible depression, which is sadness based. The anxiety at night in particular is fear based and may cause you undue distress. The fear at night is expected because it is the time to retire and it can feel very lonely too. These emotions must be expressed, and ideally with a couns...more
