Doing repeated mtps will affect your future pregnancy and you might face problems in conceiving. So better use regular contraception like condoms if not planning for pregnancy at present.

I am very sorry to hear what you're going through.
Hyperthyroidism can cause you a range of bizarre symptoms and you could be anxious and depressed at the same time.
Given the history of palpitations you need to take an ecg and do a cardiology consultation as soon as you can. Heart normally beats in a regular fashion. But if it becomes excited it can start beating in a very fast way and the regular pattern could shift to an irregular pattern. Excess thyroid hormone levels could cause you...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Your TSH has again gone quite low. So stop taking Levothyroxine for the time being. TSH ideally should be around 2 to 4 mU/L at which all the symptoms are in check. Once you stop levothyroxine, TSH will will go p over next few weeks. You may check the same again after 6 to 8 weeks and see if it has come up to the desired level. Thanks.

Mr. lybrate-user I have gone through the history you have provided. It's quiet complicated. You have not mentioned age must be around 70 I guess. Is she having headache or pain in eyes. What is vision with n without glasses. Detail eye checkup is required. Specially rule out cataract, glaucoma. Hyperthyroidism has multiple eye involvement. All needs to be ruled out. In the mean time just use refres tears eye drops 3- 4 times a day. Specific treatment only after physical consultation.

Dear lybrate-user,
when you are treated ffor hyperthyroidism with carbimazole there will be weight gain as you have noticed if your tsh level is normal then your doctor will gradually reduce the dose of carbimazole. The sneezing problem you have may be due to an allergy problem in the nasal passage and if it is troublesome you can take an antihistamine like levocet 5 mg when needed

Hyperthyroidism treatment consists of oral medicines like methimazole, carbimazole and propylthiouracil. Other measures like thyroid ablation by radioisotope and surgery are also indicated in some cases. Kindly contact me with all the reports if possible.
