Sompraz 40 MG Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor used in the treatment of stomach ulcers, Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other acidity related disorders. It decreases the acid produced in the stomach and also helps in the healing of ulcers, You can take for 6-8 weeks and change lifestyle so that acidity will stop.

Sompraz d is an antacid, should be taken in morning, fasting and you should eat breakfast within 30 min to 1 hour of taking tablet. Along with medications, lifestyle modification is important. Avoid foods increasing reflux like sweets, chocolates, carbonated drinks, tea, coffee, oily food and heavy meals. After eating food 2 to 3 hours gap should be there for lying down. No bedtime snacks. Head end elevation 30° while sleeping. No tight clothes. Weight loss to reduce tummy fat.
