Hi. I am 32 years old, three days before I feel anxiety my bp is 155/105,(no sugar, no old bp case, I consult doctor and gone through ECG. Reports are normal but my cholesterol level is high (ldl) Cardiologist suggest me telma40 and nebistar 5 in morning and in evening razel f10, now I feel normal but some time I feel anxiety for 10 to 15 minutes than normal and some time I feel my some pulling aur we say (khichavat) in hindi on left side in chest but for a moment than normal. This make my mind in tension always. What can I do?

Recently last week I undergone health check up where in TNT is negative and ECHO indicates Mild Concentric LVH, Grade I AR, No RWMA, Normal LV systolic function LV diastolic dysfunction. Other echo report is normal. My cardiologist says it is normal nothing to worry but keep BP under control. Presently my BP reads 130-140/80-85. My HbA1c is 6.20. I wish to know any cause of concern and what precautions I need to take. Regards

Your doc advice your wisely. Just keep checking your sugar more frequently. Like once in three months or more. And have less salt. Like no pickles, chatani or any such things.

Nothing to worry. Just do regular exercise, either 30 mins exercise daily or 45 mins exercise for 3 days a week, and a healthy diet including vegetables, fruits except those sugary ones, low cholesterol ,low carbohydrates meal.

Sir, I am 69 years old male suffering from BPH since last 4 years and on Veltam-f tab for 3 years with no major reductions in symptoms. However painful gynecomastia developed on both breasts. Veltam-f tab stopped since last 3 months and started taking pumpkin seeds with persistent symptoms, but size of prostate increased from 30 cc to 62 cc. Please advise if rapid growth of prostate gland without increase in symptoms is a matter of concern asking for TURP? If not any tab in place of veltamf which will have no side effects. It all depends how you are feeling and how nicely your body is coping with the overall ground reality. You can discuss about this with your doctor who can actually examine you and see the reports to comment on the fitness. Health Query

My bp remains 125/70 to 175/90 or sometimes vary slightly either to lower or higher sides. But the difference between the systolic and diastolic levels are quite far apart unlike in the correct ratio of 120/80. What does that mean. My readings are taken by omron digital sphygmomanometer. My doctor has prescribed nebistar 5 mg at 8 am in the morning, febubest 40 mg in the morning, novastat 5 and delicate forte (for anxiety disorder). Are my bp ok? If so why systolic is much higher than normal even when diastolic is lower than normal?

You don't seem to have bp problem, and may not require medicines for it. Suggest you measure bp only once every month on fixed dates after resting for 10 minutes.

My wife is 65 years and 70 kg weight is suffering from osteoarthritis in both knees and doctors have advised knee replacement surgery. Recently an orthopaedic doctor started steroid MEDROL 4 MG every alternate day along with some Homeopathic medicines. She has considerable relief in stiffness and pain. Kindly advise whether steroids can be continued. If so how long. What adverse affects can the steroids have. She is already taking medicine NEBISTAR and dytor 5 for her Heart problem.

Hello. I would not suggest steroids for longer duration for knee pain. They would decrease the pain but on longer duration will lead to myriad of problems including osteoporosis and other systemic multi organ problems. We need to look at the x rays and select a long term treatment which can decrease her pain but without side effects.

I can understand your concern. I would suggest you to seek counseling for your stress and anxiety.
Invest your time productively. Talk to your family, spend time with kids, go for walking taking all the precautions against corona. Read interesting books. If you are spiritual, do meditation. My son who is 4 year and 1 months old (weight - 13.5 kg). Hes been treated for running nose, cough, chest congestion off and on a couple of times. Wheezing is detected too on some occasions. Most of the time it results in fever. when he was 2 years old, suffering from bronchiolitis and admitted to hospital. After a week of treatment and nebulaizing he came to home. Then doctor says this frequent episode of runny nose, chest congestion and coughing accompanied with a small amount of wheezing means allergy to something in the environment. So we did allergy test and found that he has high allergy on dust, milk, milk product, brinjal, banana etc. We immediately stop those food item. Then doctor prescribed budecort-100 two puffs twice a day and delpomont syrup 5 ml at evening. And cough time salbair 3 puffs four times a day. Now it's almost 1 year 3 month, he is continuing this budecort and delpomont. I can say things are any better with this inhaler. Salbair inhaler is given whenever there is coughing and some amount of wheezing. but now my doctor is asking to give also levolin 0.68 mg nebulizer for 3 times a day when this episode starts with budecort, delpomont and salbair. is it safe for a 4 year old child? We are using budecort 100 and delpomont syrup for last 1.5 years. Is it good for my child? Can there be some side effects on such a small child?
