Diabetes can occur during pregnancy called as gestational diabetes. There is no way that diabetes can come to you from your husband. If at all it is transferred from your parents to you.
If diabetes is confirmed then it is necessary to control the sugar urgently by taking insulin injections only. Blood sugar should be maintained between 90 to 120 mg. This is necessary for proper development of fetus and positive outcome of pregnancy.

Depends on the type of food that you are eating during your fasts.
also because of the long time gaps between your 2 meals on the day of fasts, the body breaksdown its protein and produces glucose (a constant supply of which is required by your brain to function). because of protein breakdown, you lose weight during fasting.

Provided the test is done from a reliable lab, it means that your blood sugar is not under control. Your average blood sugar over the past 3 months has been around 170 mg/dl. The target should be less than 7 percent. Ensure that you take your medicines on time and follow your diet and exercise a bit more sincerely.
