It depends upon the size of gall bladder polyp if it is less than 10 mm and if not causing any symptoms. No need of treatment but regular follow up needed. If large in size and more in no and associated with gall stone cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal) is suggested.

A polyp of less than 5 mm definitely does not require surgery. You should get an ultrasound done every 3 months to see if the polyp is becoming bigger.
