Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. In a person with diabetes most important part is to achieve a stric glucose control with FBG < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6,5%. Because high blood glucose is the one that damages all the vital organs including kidneys.

If you are worried about side effects then consult and give Homoeopathic treatment..
Minimum Medicine and no side effects..

But if want to give allopathic then not giving antibiotics will be wrong.

This seems to be viral infection. Saline nasal drops if nose gets blocked. Paracetamol drops for pain/bodyache leading to more crying and also if fever which reaches 100 degree f. See a pediatrician if baby starts breathing fast or is not able to take feeding well.

Breast feeding is recommended till 6 months of age. But if you are giving bottle feed try to maintain sterilization as risk of respiratory and gut infections are common with bottle.
