Do you nap in daytime or do you sleep till late in morning. If yes then stop it. U need to change your habits. Try to go to bed early. Stop watching tv or mobile phone etc atleast an hour before going to sleep. Drink warm milk before going to bed. Even if you not able to sleep do not start chatting on what's app or face book etc. Don't sleep till late in morning. Eat healthy well balanced food. Dear user. I can understand. Tobacco is addictive. Cigarette also contains 4000+ carcinogenic chemicals other than nicotine. Smoking can affect your mouth, throat, lungs, heart, stomach and brain in many ways. Cancer is one among the potential diseases smoking can cause. The best method is to leave it and continue with your will power. There are other methods like Nicotine Replacement therapy and pharmacotherapy combined. Nicotine chewing gums too help as an alternative for cigarettes. But still...more

Ideally both are not good drugs for depression. Please visit a psychiatrist and take the proper course for depression. The drugs you have mentioned, they have a high potential to become drugs of dependence for you over the long term. Please do not self medicate.

I do not know if modafinil can induce psychosis either acute or chronic psychosis. We have not reached a stage yet to diagnose schizophrenia by a laboratory test. It still has to e made by clinical criteria only supported by history.

Dear Javvaji,
No tablet is safe. Every tablet has side effects since they are routed through various organs before reaching the target organ.
I agree that there are no major side effects with these nootropics.
All nootropics are not 100% potent. They may be of very little help in normal population.
Don't include modafinil in this list. It is better to avoid for normal persons. Other tablets if you can afford, you can take.

Drugs can have side effects, so it is safe to go for natural and better methods of improvements in study. What matters is your sincerity and your best efforts for your exams, this is what God sees, so this is what matters irrespective of the results of the exam. In other words, if you study sincerely by giving your best that itself is your success, thus naturally if you are honest with your study the stress will automatically go away, simply stay calm and keep mind engaged in your study. Do not ...more

Hi,
It is not a good idea to take medications for feelings of depression without a proper medical evaluation and supervision. Please consult a psychiatrist for the same. You can also connect with a psychologist to explore your feelings and the underlying causes. They can help you enhance your coping skills and manage your life in a better manner. All the best and take care.
