The total calories should be more than the energy required. There should be a step-wise increase in the calories, as a sudden increase may not be tolerated. Fluids should be restricted before and during meals. At night before going to bed, have warm milk. Avoid sitting Cross legged.
Avoid Squatting-
Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.
Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Madam to achiev a strict glucose control one needs to take adequate dosage of various medications being taken includong Insulin. Plus there is need for taking restricted diet, that gives exact amount of calories based on ideal body weight (60 kgs) and regular exercise for over 1 hour and maintaining normal body weight.

Dark discoloration and thickening of skin are signs of insulin resistance and it is known as acanthosis nigricans. This can be reversed by following healthy lifestyle.
You should do regular physical activities and also try to follow balanced meal. Try to avoid more of simple carbs such as sugar, cold drinks, sweets and refined wheat products as these can ellevate sugar spikes and will further lead to more insulin resistance.
