Asked for female, 25 years old from Hyderabad

My last date was feb 22. After a month on march 24th I checked and confirmed that i'm pregnant. I used unwanted kit to terminate the pregnancy. Taken mifepristone on 29th and misoprostol on 30th. And I got bleeding after 3 hours. But it is lighter than normal and bleeding is not continued after 6 hours. Means stopped. Please help me.

It's incomplete abortion. Set of 5 tablet to be taken for 3 days as written on the pack. Only one tablet of misoprostol can't cause complete abortion. Do visit local doctor.

Health Query

I inserted 4 tablets of misoprostol through the vagina about 45 mins ago but still feel the tablet in there any time I insert my finger in there. Does it mean I didn't insert the tablets right?

misoprost tablets take some time to dissolve ,don't keep checking the tablets ,with time they will get dissolved and absorbed

I doctor I am a mom of two kids and I recently had a miscarriage and I had a medical abortion I took misoprost pill on the 13th of november I blended for a week exactly and then had little little spotting and then my bleeding completely stopped. I was asked to take a test and scan after 20 days which is today I took a scan but my home pregnancy test says I am wisely pregnant I am so worried now I am taking trans vaginal scan tomorrow but my question is" does this mean I still have my baby inside me" I dint have any sort if pregnancy symptoms but why does it say I am wisely pregnant? One line is very dark otherwise otherwise faintly visible pls explain my problem.

hello...yes ,there may be chance of incomplete miscarriage....so you have to go for transvaginal scan.....thereafter...please take an opinion from gynaec doctor...

I am in a remote area where hospitals and clinics are very far from my home. Please advice me what to do in heavy bleeding if it happened. I am worried. I want to take 4 misoprostol at home. I have a trained nurse with me who knows pushing injection and saline. Symptoms: Vomiting, Weakness, Unable to eat even I am hungry.

Medical abortion is given to the patient to take at home only with the condition that the patient has access to medical facility. There is a chance of heavy bleeding with any abortion. But in the unfortunate occurrence of heavy uncontrolled bleeding at home you need to be near a facility. You won't be able to manage it at home. Better to go to nearest nursing home or hospital and take misoprost ok there if you are very far away.

I am a lady aged 23 had an abortion with kontrac pills at 10 weeks I had a bleeding one day and it stopped the whole week then the second week had the bleeding again the whole week so on the third week I tested and am still pregnant what should I do?

Get a transvaginal pelvis scan with complete blood count to know your hb levels and infection. If there is incomplete abortion. Consult your doc immediately.

Hi. I am pregnant for 37 days (5 weeks 2 days. My age 27 yrs. Yesterday at 4 pm I taken mifepristone tablet which it is in top of the kit. Today I taken at 11 am misoprostol and now I taken another misoprostol at 4 pm now. But still bleeding not started .what is the reasons? Anything serious?

Misoprost thrice was a bad practice. Complicated abortions can cause tubal block and infertility. However other causesshould b ruled out too

Hey I had protected sex on 9 june and 5 jun is the last date of my periods now I had urine pregnancy test that is negative I also take a course of meprate to get my periods but no result now after 7 days m taking misoprostol and mifepristone to get my periods suggest me is it right please help me.

Hi. As you r not pregnant mifepristone n misoprost are not required n those tabs have to taken under supervision. As your period is on 5 july you can safely wait till that date.
