Please suggest For mtp what is the time gap preferred between two misoprostol doses? If first dose makes me bleed is there any need of taking the second dose? Please answer both the questions. Thank you very much. Help please.

The ideal way of taking MTP is to take tab mifepristone followed by 4 tab of miso after 48 hr of mife. All 4 tab taken together give the best results. But there are other methods also of taking misoprost, like taking 2 tab of miso followed by other 2 after 6 hr. And many more. Yes it is necessary to take all 4 tab of miso.

I did pregnancy test on 17 july, and took first abortion pills on 17 july and then misoprostol on 20, bleed for 5 days, before that since 5 months, my vagina infection was keep coming back, so visit near gyno doctor 3 times she gave me medicines but my infections keeps coming back, so after the completion of abortions my vagina infection comes again, and since 3 days I started to feel nausea, and morning sickness so on 13 august again I went to hospital, doctor suggest me for ultrasound and blood test, on 14 aug results came and doctor told me that abortion pill didn't worked and small flesh left and also have infection under uterus, so he gave me medicines for infection, and zitotec pills for 5 days, today is 4th day of my pills ,but am not bleeding, all am feeling is nausea, vomiting,gas, headache,sickness, pain in whole body, what's really happening to my body?

The abortion pills can have these effects. Trust your treating doctor or else upload the usg report and contact me. Incomplete abortion is a real risk with these pills.

I had medical abortion on 10th and had scan on 20th. Dr. told me 8.7 mm tissue is there. And gave me zitotec tablets for 2 days 2 in morning and night. After four tablets still no bleeding. Will this tissue pass out during my next period with out any surgical treatment. Kindly help me I'm so confused.

My gynecologist has suggested to take contrapill kit for abortion of five week pregnancy. She suggested to take mifepristone with water and after 48 hours, 2 tablet of misoprostol orally. But I am confused and forgot to ask from my gynecologist that, should I swallow misoprostol with water or to take it sublingual or buccally? What's best option to take misoprostol?

Sir good evening. My wife is used Zitotec 200 (6 pills in a week days) to prevent 5 weeks pregnancy ,as doctor said bleeding was happened, later we consult the doctor again after Bleeding is over ,doctor has checked with Stick like instrument and said everything is good and nothing to worry. Simultaneously she suggested an injection to prevent from infections to every (also prevents pregnancy up to 3 months though we participate in sex directly with precautions) .but due to lac of money we didn't take that. Is necessary ?is there any chances of infections by using this Zitotec 200 tablets. Please suggest. Please. Please. literally I am begging your valuable suggestions. Please. Please.

Hi
Zitotec is an abortion tablet, and causes abortion. IT will not cause infection. Do not take it without doctor advice. The injection she suggested is a contraceptive injection, to avoid getting pregnant. This is assuming you do not want a baby right now.
There are other options for preventing a pregnancy too.
Please use some form of contraception to avoid unplanned pregnancy.

Hi lybrate-user. The hormones can take upto 2 weeks post abortion to decline to undetectable levels. Till then the test will show positive result only. Only after 2 weeks if still positive then probably the procedure is still incomplete. To confirm, ultrasound is the best measure to assess if the abortion is complete or not.

either ways you can do but depends on the fetal size and previous normal or cesarean section. advice you to take the medicine under gynecologist supervision
