Probably she would not have come out of depression and she stopped the tablets only on symptomatic relief. It is better to consult the doctor and then stop the medicines. Now that she is depressed, let her consult the doctor again and start the medicines. Sometimes, the same medicines in the same dose may not work that well for a relapse.

based on the limited information provided by you, it is not clear whether mirtazapine was the first medicine given to you after you were diagnosed with ocd or it was started after trial of other medications.
