These lotions contain alcohol so produce dryness. I have seen several patients developing contact dermatitis after using them which may cause severe hair fall. Dermatitis menifes mostly as dandruff initially.

No need just continue 5 percent minoxidil. Results will be seen only after 6 months continuous application of minoxidil.

Hi,
minoxidil will work only if there are follicles/ roots present. And for males 5% solution is recommended. Mintop, tugain are few brands available in market in all percentage.
Transplant is the best and sure line of treatment if you want proper growth
regards.

Only plain biotin won't work. You may need other iron tab, B12 and Vit D3 supplements too along with topical application.
