This is not the normal bp level.
Normal bp level is systolic <140 mmhg and diastolic <90 mmhg.
If your bp is 180/100 then start some antihypertensive.

You should go for psychotherapy and sex therapy with medication as per your previous condition. Psychotherapy is a drugless approach. It will be very helpful with medicine and your even low libido.

Hi Sir, I am 70 years and since October 2010 my BPH discomfort started and then and in october 2013 my PSA was normal and as per Urologist advice containing to take Silodal 8 mg one a day and feeling better while in both above dates the scan showed my prostate weight was 18 grams a normal measure. After my recent herpes attack in May 2nd half after medication and 15-20 days later both my gen physician and dermatologist confirmed herpes is cured and the later doctor on 14th June 18 prescribed medicines for 3 weeks to get relief from burning and itching with gabopan100 mg, tryptomer 25 mg and tab homin that was completed by july 6th but the skin itching and at times in early night and later feeling very hot on my whole body persists .as I was told herpes weakens nerves and so this condition takes time to get better given my age my question to respected Urologist now is I take a long time say even 5 minutes for my urination to start after I go and stand at the loo after I get the sensation to pass. Is urination since 3 or 4 weeks. Is this also due to post herpes condition of my nerves taking time to act normal way like before or is there a possibility of this happening due to an enlargement of my prostate since last scan in oct 2013 .kindly advice whether this will get better in due course if it is related to nerve present weak condition and I will be able to urinate soon after I feel the need to urinate once my nerves get back to near to my earlier state or I have repeat tests fir BPH like abdomen scan, PSA and any other tests. I am nit diabetic and BP is normal for which I have been taking seloken 50 mg and plagerine 75 as per cardiologist advice based in angiogram since June 2005 and no medication for sugar control as my HbA1c is always at 5.1 and average blood sugar 108 mg as per 28th march 2018 tests. Thanks and request to share your precious time to read my submission and advise.

You continue with silodal. If after taking silodal you are not passing urine with good flow then you are candidate for surgery for prostate.

Yes metaprolol has some trigger effect for asthmatic patient .i hope during taking prescription with your doctor you told each and everything about the medical history of your father. As I knew doctor considered all these things but if you are having doubt then ask him. Without your physician's advice do't abruptly stop taking.
