Probably not needed, but unlikely to cause serious side effects, specially in a young person. Side effects, if any, will go away when it is discontinued.

Yes it is a safe combination. Night metoprolol may affect sleep. Your lipid medicine is probably excessive, suggest you post the exact lipid levels for further opinion.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Levothyroxine tablets have to be taken early morning on empty stomach, then nothing should be taken for at least 1 to 1 and half hours. This is absolutely necessary, for helping proper absorption of thyroxine. Thanks.
