Metoprolol will only treat the autonomic (i.e. Heart rate and BP symptoms) of anxiety not the cognitive symptoms (those related with mind like anxious mood, feeling apprehensive, fear, etc) they are treated by medications by psychiatrists, which may even make your metoprolol dose less or not required at all, so kindly consult a psychiatrist as anxiety disorder is a primary psychiatric disorder. I have read the details given. It is clear that you are on multiple drugs to control blood glucose. Dosage of Glimiperide 6 mg is quite high as optimum dose recommeded is 4 mg a day. Taking additional dosage has no benefit. Plus you on Vildagliptin and Metformin also. However, there is no mention of either fasting or PP glucose as well as HbA1c%. Plus there is no information on serum creatinine, urea, lipid profile, extent of daily physical activity and dietary ...more
