Rozat is required after heart attack, not before. Rozat f has fenofibrate that should be used in very rare cases. Meet your Dr. and discuss need to reduce these meds. Sgot/pt can be deranged with these medicines, or because of high level of soluble calories in diet.

I am 21 year old male, recently diagnosed with prehypertension levels ranging from 130-142 systolic and 80-84 diastolic in last 30 days during follows up with the local physician. I have been prescribed tolol xr 25 prolonged release since last month. I would like to know whether this drug is habit forming and can this be considered life-long hypertension or changes in lifestyle can help to attain healthy bp? (I have a history with alcohol abuse and smoking & have quit both of them)

Reduce sugar jaggery and alcohol. Measure bp only once every 2 months on fixed dates after resting for 10 minutes. Medicine can be taken, but necessary at present.

Metolar contains metoprolol which is a beta adrenergic blocker. It's useful in those with heart problems as in decreases the pulse rate thereby decreasing the oxygen consumption of the heart.

I had vitamin d3 deficiency when diagnosed in january 2020 which was less that 4. Started taking medication and now d3 is above 50. Due to low d3 I had loss of bone mass density. I consumed oftreofor 70 for 6 months since january 2020. After that I am taking idrofos 150 once a month. I am feeling weakness sometimes and also my blood pressure level is keeping higher than normal. I have been taking amlodac 5 and tolol xr 25 since past 20 years and it kept check in my bp levels but now bo is rising, my current bp is 92/ 142. I want to understand if my taking osteofos 70 has resulted in higher bp as well as weakness. I also sometimes feel shortness of breath.

1.stop all medication and supplements 2. Tab telma am once a day.
3. Salt restricted diet
4. Start yoga meditation pranayama.

Hi, Since it's an emergency state it's okay if she used 1 dose of metoprolol tablet. It's category c drug. Which means no controlled studies in human pregnant women is conducted so far. Moreover, the condition is emergency and benefit overweight the risk. So, Please do not worry.

My sexual drive is reduced drastically after my intake of diabetic and high bp medication - I take glycomet trio forte 2 twice earlier and tel plus in the morning and metolar xr 50 at night with ecosprin + atorlip f. Please advise as I have reduced my intake of metolar xr 50 and glycomet trio forte 2 since couple of months to reduce my intake.

Yes for time being but tartarate is short acting so till the time you are not getting it you can have it or replace with some other good available salt for hypertension.

Yes it is a safe combination. Night metoprolol may affect sleep. Your lipid medicine is probably excessive, suggest you post the exact lipid levels for further opinion.

You need to change your medication and the time of taking them. Please consult your treating cardiologist for a change in dose as well as addition of of medication for better BP control. Also follow lifestyle changes of exercising daily and diet counselling.
