Hello-
Women who are not taking a contraceptive pill can use norethisterone tablets to postpone their period. However, taking norethisterone tablets to delay your period will not protect you against pregnancy, so you still need to use a method of contraception.

Hi. It depends on exact cause of your pain in stomach to decide whether it's due to infection or inflammation. If its due to infection then antibiotics have role but if it's simple inflammatory response like gastritis etc then antibiotics have less role.
All this is to be decided by doing usg abdomen, blood tests and clinical examination. It's very difficult to comment on use of antibiotics in your case so better to get investigations done also.

Yes! it should be 15 mg/kg per day. Higher doses may cause nephrotoxicity which will lead to renal failure and anurea and ultimately that will be fatal. It may also cause ototoxicity.

Dear lybrate-user, norethisterone is not a contraceptive pill. She can get pregnant on those medications. She should be taking oral contraceptive pills ie. Pregnancy avoiding pills.
