Lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query.
C-peptide low level signifies that there is lack of insulin secretion from your beta cells. Hence there is a need for Insulin injections to control blood glucose.
No ketones means glucose level is fairly normal or not too high. Presence of glucose in urine maens blood glucose is more than 180 mg or even more. Thanks.

Dear Lybrate-user you haven't mentioned your father's age.
Low c peptide indicates that the body is unable to produce any insulin. Type 1 is unlikely in him but he cud be having lada which is also called as type 1 /2 diabetes.
He will require small doses of insulin at present.
Please do an ultrasound abdomen to look for any pancreatic causes also.

Hello, There are only two medications that are FDA approved for hair loss Minoxidil and Finasteride. Rest all are add on procedure with variable results. Though PRP lasers have been used with good results in some it cannot guarantee results in all. It's a decision that you have to make as there is limited treatment options and you must be open to all options as long as there are no side effects.
