MD - Anaesthesiology, Pain Medicine

Pain Management Specialist•Bangalore
Sir,
in a long standing neck issue it is advisable that you get a complete evaluation. These kind of problems may be muscle related due to faulty posture or due to skeletal issues.
As far as your memory issue is concerned it may not be related to this. It is possible that the medication that you are receiving may make you a little drowsy and less agile. But this cannot be commented on till you tell what pain medication you were receiving.
Regards.

Yes it can be taken. But first get yourself evaluated for the reason for your hand pain. 6 months is a long period and a patient especially diabetic should not ignore such symptoms.

Thanks for the query.
Tablet mentioned is the combination of Pragabalin with a pain killer. It is basically given to control pain, burning sensation and other symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Only pragabalin can be taken for a long time. But taking Aceclofenac is not safe. Plus pragabalin is a nerve pain reliever, not a nerve tonic. It essential to have a strict blood glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg HbA1c% <7. That helps in reducing neuropathy. Thanks.

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. The medicines as prescribed by your mother's doc is suggestive of pulmonary fibrosis, and the consequent lung damage. Although the lung damage thus far cannot be undone, I still can help your mother arrest or slowdown the disease progression by intervening and complimenting the present conventional therapy with appropriate natural medicines. To be able to proceed with her integrative treatment, I will require all relevant details including her diag...more

Rheumatoid factor (ra factor) is not a diagnostic investigation of rheumatoid arthritis rather it has some prognostic importance. It might be increased in a normal person who doesn't have any signs & symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It's very essential to know your symptoms before commenting to your medicines prescribed. It's better to consult a rheumatologist.
