Hi lybrate-user. Certain studies show that pregabalin affects menstrual cycle. But it is absolutely fine if one of your menstrual cycle is a bit late. It would be a concern only if every menstrual cycle is abrupt or delayed. There can be a lot of reasons of your menstrual cycle to be delayed, one of them is stress. I would say eat healthy and sleep well and wait until your next cycle.

Lyrica may cause serious allergic reactions. In extreme cases, these reactions could be fatal.
While taking Lyrica, your mental health may change unexpectedly, and you may develop suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
If you have diabetes, you should monitor your skin carefully for sores while taking Lyrica. Be sure to contact your doctor right away if you develop any sores, redness, or skin problems.
The drug may also cause a buildup of fluid in your lower limbs.

If diabetes is in control normally other complications are either delayed or of less severity. Since your problem is long standing one, it may not completely go away. Pregabalin is a good drug to help in this condition. But it equally essential to maintain a strict sugar control to get better relief.

Hello, thanks for the query.
Usually in a person with long standing diabetes mellitus, symptoms of periphera; neiropathy develop. The condition is seen in most of the diabetes patients, particularly it is worse in those who had a badly controlled blood glucose levels and high hba1c%.
