Thanks for connecting with me. Natural causes most likely to cause amenorrhea include pregnancy, breast-feeding, and menopause. Lifestyle factors may include excessive exercise and stress. Also, having too little body fat or too much body fat may also delay or stop menstruation. Hormonal imbalances may cause amenorrhea. I need more information. We need to have a detailed discussion to find out the actual reason and It’s severity and then appropriate and effective treatment can be applied.

Undergone a myomectomy on 27th Oct’17 to remove 3 fibroids-15 cm, 5 cm and a seedling. I also had grade 4 endometriosis and right ovary cyst that were also removed during this surgery. Though it was a minimally invasive surgery but I had a major blood loss during the process and it became a complicated case. After surgery I was put on endoreg 2 mg that didn’t really work for me. So finally I was put on Lupride Acetate injections starting 18th Dec’18. And experiencing severe side effects- hot flashes, pain in joints especially knees, swelling feet, extreme mood swings, depression, etc. 1st injection-18th Dec’18 2nd injection- 18th Jan’19 3rd injection- 18th Feb’19 During these months I did not get my periods and still awaiting. But was sexually active and had it without protection a couple of times, especially since last month as I assumed that conception is not possible as there is no menstruation. It’s been more than 6 weeks that I had my last injection. When should I get my periods? And since a couple of days I am experiencing periods like cramps, stomach upset causing multiple loose stools (for no reason as I am strict about my diet and routine), and since yesterday I am feeling extremely wet down there with a water like discharge. Is it an indication that I am going to get my periods soon? Or any indication towards pregnancy? I have appointment scheduled with my gynaecologist this weekend but till then I will be in a major dilemma as waiting is tougher with so many thoughts on mind. Please guide.

You can wait till your regular menstruation, if you will missed your periods, you can do fresh urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

I am a prostrate cancer patient since 2008. I have gone thru Radiation in the same year in TMH Mumbai and given inj Lupride 11.25 for 3 yrs. Later remained Under routine check up every 6 months. My PSA level remained well under control. However the level of PSA started increasing in2015. Urine flow slowed down as scanty amount, painful and frequency was high. I was given RAPILIF 8 mg which is continue till date. However both bone scanning and PSMA WAS done for the reason. Bone scanning was ok but PSMA showed slightly increased area. As a matter of treatment I was given high dose ELIGUARD 43.5 every 6 month from Jan 2015. PSA is well less than 01 after injection. Still I used to take RAPILIF 8 mg. Recently I developed a new problem of leakage of urine in night wetting my pants. For this gone thru Cystoscopy at TMH in Dec 22 2016 where normal report was obtained and no medicine was given except continuing with injection ELIGUARD 43.5 mg. I am to inform you that I also developed Skin cancer in 2014 fungoides mycosis and was given phototherapy PUVA for 1 year. Almost all white patches covered up tho I am in routine check up at TMH. In past 6 months my patches started appearing once again which was duly consulted at TMH. Advised to watch for next 6 months. My CONCERN IS URINE LEAKAGE DURING SLEEP. PLEASE GIVE YOUR VALUABLE ADVICE TO STOP THE PROBLEM.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user
It must be difficult to go through all this for so long. You should go and see a good urologist for the incontinence of your urine. The rest of your Radiation and other treatment has been very good. All the best!

Oziva has herbs like chasteberry .redrasberry. Breast tenderness may be due to hormonal overplay, it can happen sometimes in menstrual cycle, don't worry, if it continues to be soo then visit a gynaecologist.
